Study history
2019, Master of Music, Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki. Major in jazz composition. Teachers included Kari Heinilä, Tapani Länsiö, Vellu Halkosalmi and Jukkis Uotila among others.

2013, Vocational Qualification in Pop/Jazz Music, Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory. Main instrument piano.
​
Studies in orchestral conducting, including courses of Panula Academy (teacher Jorma Panula) and Finnish Big Band Association (teachers Antti Rissanen and Tapio Maunuvaara).
Awards and Recognitions
2022, Music Theatre Artist of the Year. An honor award given in the Finnish Music Theatre Festival, Helsinki. Jury consisted of 11 Finnish music theatre professionals. More info here (in Finnish).

2021, 2. Prize in the European Jazz Comp Graz composition competition with The Tide Turns for big band. Jury included Jim McNeely, John Hollenbeck, Ed Partyka ja Jörg Achim Keller. More information here.

2018, 2. Prize in the international Markku Johansson composition competition with Uneni for symphony orchestra. More information here (in Finnish).

2018 2. Prize in the fanfare composing composition of the Finnish Big Band Association with Fanfaresque for big band.

2016, 1. Prize and Audience Award in the composition competition of Turku Jazz Orchestra with Luotain for big band.
